1967 Gretsch 711 Songbird! Made in the USA. This rare model was produced for one year and was sold exclusively by Sam Goody music stores. Sunburst finish on double-cut thinline hollow body, with unique 'G' soundholes and bound top and back. Guitar has had a professional and cleanly done neck-reset and plays great. Tuners replaced. Bridge has been replaced and screwed to the body, luckily it is in the correct spot. One replaced knob. Plays and sounds great. A very cool vintage Gretsch rarity. Ships in its original hardshell case that shows wear on the outside but is totally solid with all latches and hinges intact.
